IT Managed Services
Patch Management is the process of updating software in a structured and regular manner, and is one of the prime directives of any MSP.
These flaws are found and then corrected on a regular basis by programmers. The fixes that are released by the software creators are called “patches”. If one of these flaws produces a serious security concern, it may allow an attacker to successfully create an “exploit”, and thereby breach defenses and compromise a system.
Patch Management ensures a stable and secure computing environment by fixing these inevitable software bugs without delay.
The Patch Cycle
Our patch cycle begins every day at midnight local time. This prevents the cycle from interrupting users during normal business hours. Critical security and feature updates are applied at this time, keeping all of your workstations in compliance with regulations and standards.
In addition to nightly patching, we also perform a set of maintenance tasks, which keep your workstations running smoothly from the start of each workday.
